Our Breastfeeding Masterclass is for women about to become a mother for the first time or who may have experienced previous difficulties breastfeeding. It is aimed at women in search of practical information and support so that they and their baby can enjoy the many benefits of breastfeeding.
Our 3-hour live online workshop includes essential tips such as understanding how breastfeeding works, from breastfeeding positions, care for your nipples, identifying breastfeeding problems and what you can do, is your baby getting enough breast milk, your diet, how to increase milk supply, your well-being, your partner’s role and more.
Kate will give a multitude of recommendations on breastfeeding based on current research, best practices and 23 years of experience as a midwife and lactation consultant.
This workshop gives you a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about breastfeeding.

FACILITATOR
Kate Bergamasco is a registered nurse, a midwife, a child health nurse and a breastfeeding consultant with 23 years of experience. She is also a certified hypnobirthing practitioner and provides antenatal and postnatal services.
She is based in North Adelaide and runs My Private Midwife offering a personalised service to women and their families as they adapt to the role of parents. She empowers parents, helps them develop confidence and networks within their community. She works collaboratively and holistically with significant professionals for her client’s well-being.
