Learn about the Permaculture concept, an empowering way of living with more connection, ease and simplicity.
During this interactive Introduction to Permaculture Online Workshop, Gavin will instruct you on the Permaculture concept and ecological design principles. He will provide you with an empowering way of living that emphasizes connection, ease, and simplicity.
Permaculture is a design system that aims to create sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystems by working with nature instead of against it. The concept was first introduced in the 1970s by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren, who saw the need for a more sustainable way of living that could address the environmental, social, and economic challenges of our time.
Earth care involves working toward the regeneration and preservation of natural resources, including soil, water, and air.
People care focuses on meeting basic human needs, such as food, shelter, and community while ensuring that everyone has access to these resources.
Fair share involves distributing resources equitably and creating systems that benefit everyone.
If you are interested in learning about sustainable practices that can benefit both you and the environment, discovering effective ways to save money, or seeking life skills to prepare for the future, then this Introduction to Permaculture online workshop is perfect for you!
Our facilitator, Gavin Hardy, is also hosting a How to Make Compost workshop on 20 May 23. Read more about this fascinating workshop HERE.
