The deck is really easy to penetrate if you know where to look. In this short but potent Introduction to Tarot Reading online workshop, we’ll take a clear lens to the Tarot deck’s basic principles, so that you receive a solid foundation for any future Tarot explorations.
We will explore Tarot basics from a whole new angle.
We will pinpoint exactly what the four elements of the Minor Cards – Fire, Water, Air, Earth – relate to and what this tells you about yourself and others.
We will simplify the Court Cards (Kings, Queens, Knights, and Pages) so that you get a grasp on them. We will break down the big themes of the Major cards into understandable sections. Then we will weave it all together so the Tarot deck as a whole makes sense to you.
Throughout this Tarot Reading online workshop, we will practice using our own experience as a resource for understanding the cards. We will do this by sharing in a safe and nurturing circle, making this workshop one of understanding the cards, through understanding ourselves.
This particular method of approaching the deck dispels the myth that you must study symbols and esoteric principles in order to decipher the Tarot. We’ll bust this myth and instead go right to the core of the deck and get honest about the elements behind the Minor cards and the big themes underpinning the Major cards.

The Primary objective is to show you how easy it is to make sense of the Tarot by using your own experiences as a reference point. And to show you exactly how the Tarot maps out your personal story so you can begin to develop a real relationship with your deck.
PROGRAMME
The programme provides an overview of the Tarot Deck and how to gain real traction in understanding what the different components of the deck communicate. It offers easy steps for understanding what the Major and Minor cards relate to as a whole, as well as tips on how to grow your relationship with the cards. Overall Shana will give you the foundational knowledge you need to start your journey into the world of Tarot.
LEARNING / SUPPORTING MATERIALS
Written (PDF) materials will be sent to you via email before the workshop. These materials will include information on the basics of tarot, the structure of the tarot deck, and the fundamental techniques for reading and interpreting tarot spreads.
